Apple has officially launched the iPad (2025) with an A16 chip, bringing a modest performance upgrade over its predecessor. However, it lacks Apple Intelligence support, setting it apart from the latest iPad Pro and Air models (See how the M3-powered iPad Air (2025) compares). The 11th-generation iPad maintains the same design as the 2022 version, but introduces a binned A16 Bionic chip, increased base storage, and Bluetooth 5.3. If you’re considering an upgrade, check the iPad Price List 2025 for the latest prices.

iPad (2025) A16 Chip: What’s New?

The iPad (2025) is powered by the A16 Bionic chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 14 Pro series. However, Apple has binned this version, reducing its CPU and GPU core count.

📌 No Apple Intelligence Support
Apple has not revealed the RAM capacity, but given that this model does not support Apple Intelligence, it’s likely under 8GB.

📌 Upgraded Storage Options
The iPad (2025) now starts at 128GB, eliminating the 64GB base variant from the previous generation. This ensures more space for apps, media, and productivity.

Improved Connectivity & Display Features

Apple has introduced Bluetooth 5.3, replacing the previous Bluetooth 5.2 standard for better wireless performance.

Other key specifications include:

  • A16 Bionic chip for improved efficiency
  • 11-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD (60Hz refresh rate)
  • 12MP front and rear cameras
  • Touch ID integrated into the power button
