Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Now Available in the UK: Specs, Price, and Features
The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, unveiled last month, is now officially on sale in the UK through Samsung’s website and retail stores. Priced at £199 ($255/€240/INR21,420), it is also available at a discount on Amazon UK. This affordable 5G smartphone comes in Blue Black, Light Green, and Light Grey, with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is powered by either an Exynos 1330 SoC or a Dimensity 6300 chip, depending on the region. However, Samsung has not specified which processor is available in the UK model.
With a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 25W charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Galaxy A16 5G offers a solid combination of performance and design. The device also includes four cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Running on Android 14-based One UI 6.1, the Galaxy A16 5G promises up to six years of software support, including six Android version upgrades and six years of security updates. This extended support adds long-term value to this budget-friendly phone.
