Emphasizing the country’s suitability for a satellite broadband service like Starlink due to its expansive archipelago, he highlighted that he and his delegation received a tour of the SpaceX facility.

“The vast archipelago of the Philippines is an optimal candidate for satellite broadband service, and we eagerly anticipate the enhancement of broadband connectivity in our country through Starlink and other avenues,” President Marcos stated.

Acknowledging the persistent issue of poor internet connection in the Philippines, he expressed optimism about transformative changes resulting from the collaborations established during his US visit.
